Access

The Hall 1 entrance foyers provide wheelchair-friendly access and there are lifts to access the First Floor. 

Carers

Visitors who require a Carer or Personal Assistant to accompany them to the show can book a free Carer ticket when booking their tickets.

To ensure the system remains beneficial to those who rely on it, the Organiser reserves the right to check a person's eligibility under the Equality Act. 

Once you have booked your tickets, you will need to email us with your order reference number and a photo or scan of at least one of the following documents to [email protected] within 7 days. Once your documents have been verified, your Carer ticket(s) will be activated. Please note: if your documents are not received within 7 days, your enire ticket order will be cancelled and refunded.

If you are booking your tickets less than 7 days before your visit, you will not be able to add a Carer ticket to your order. Please book the rest of your tickets, and then email [email protected] with your order confirmation number and proof of eligibility and your Carer ticket will be added to your order. 

Accepted documents include:

  • A current award of DLA, PIP, Attendance Allowance, or Adult Disability Payment (Scotland)
  • A valid Access Card
  • A current and valid blue badge
  • Confirmation of Attendance Allowance
  • Confirmation of the Standard or Enhanced rate of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Confirmation of being registered blind or partially sighted (copy of CVI – Certificate of Visual Impairment)
  • A letter of support from your GP or consultant, or a professional body (e.g. a Nurse or a BUPA Healthcare Advisor) on headed paper (dated within the last 24 months).

 

Parking

Disabled parking is available at the venue.  Please ensure you display your blue badge in your car and the traffic marshals will direct you to the disabled car park.

Arriving by Taxi

Please note, you should bring your Blue Badge with you, even if you are arriving by taxi or private coach.  If you are arriving by taxi and have your Blue Badge with you, you will be able to be dropped off at the main entrances. If you also require a pick up, please advise the taxi firm that you have a blue badge and the taxi will be permitted to pick you up from the main entrances.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue.

Hearing Impairments

Induction loop audio systems are fitted in various locations.

Disabled Facilities 

Accessible and disabled toilets are available throughout the venue.
